Frequently Asked Questions
What kinds of presentations can you help me with?
Over the past 20 years SpeechPower has helped people
with almost every type of presentation, including, but not
limited to:
Can you help me write my presentation as well as helping
me look and sound more confident in front of my audience?
Yes! In fact, the most effective way to use SpeechPower’s
services is for Susan Thompson to assist you at the start
of your presentation planning. We’ll strategize the
best approach to achieve your goals, and help you organize
and put together your presentation, so that your time, resources
and effort are invested as wisely and efficiently as possible.
Will you write my presentation for me?
We’ll do better than that. In almost every public speaking
environment, credibility comes from being able to communicate,
think and respond effectively in your own words. Memorizing
and reciting (or worse, reading) a speech written by someone
else is not an effective way to develop trust and rapport
with your listeners. Susan Thompson will work with you to
create a presentation that’s powerful, credible and
authentically your own, and she’ll show you how to save
time and effort doing it.
I already have a speech, can you help me fine-tune it?
Yes. Susan Thompson can help you polish up an existing presentation.
We can also take a presentation that was prepared by someone
else, and adapt it to your needs and your own communication
style, so that you can present it powerfully and persuasively.
You’re located in Seattle, how can I use SpeechPower’s
services if I’m located elsewhere?
Please check out our Assistance
at a Distance service. It is also possible to have Susan
Thompson come to your city to teach your group or assist you
with your presentation.
Are references available?
Yes, references are gladly sent
upon request.
Do you have classes?
SpeechPower does not offer open-enrollment classes.
We can assist you via private consultation/coaching or group
training programs offered in-house at your organization or
business. If you want to participate in a public speaking
class, we recommend contacting your local community college.
